  • Learning aids

    The Social Science Information Gateway
    (SOSIG) is a searchable subject-based catalogue of international internet resources It can be used to support teaching, learning and researching. See http://www.sosig.ac.uk

    The Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN) has a Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism subject centre. It includes a comprehensive coverage of teaching and learning issues in HE and provides resources that can be downloaded. Go to http://www.ltsn.ac.uk

    Bath Information and Data Services (BIDS) is a widely used bibliographic service for the academic community in the UK. Links to full text journal articles are also available. Further and higher education institutions are usually subscribed to BIDS and they will provide their staff and students with ATHENS usernames and passwords. Go to http://www.bids.ac.uk for more.
