The North Holmes Campus of Canterbury Christ Church University, Canterbury, is the site of LSA 2009 sessions and residential accommodation buildings.

By Air
  • Arrivers at airports --- go by train to London Victoria Station, then by train from London Victoria to Canterbury.

  • Alternatively, take taxi: from all three airports to Canterbury the cost would be £80 +.
By Train

From airports to London Victoria

  • From Heathrow to London Victoria (journey time 45-55 minutes); frequent departures. Fares vary according to time of day.
  • From Gatwick to London Victoria (journey time 30-40 minutes); frequent departures. Fares vary according to time of day.
  • From Stansted to Liverpool Street station, then take the underground Circle Line to London Victoria train station. Continue by train (below) to Canterbury.

From London to Canterbury (East or West)
(Canterbury has two train stations --- Canterbury East and West --- which are similar distances from the North Holmes Campus site of the University)

  • From London Victoria to Canterbury East or Canterbury West, service half hourly (cost about £19). Service to Canterbury East is the faster (90 mins).
  • From Charing Cross, London Waterloo or London Bridge to Canterbury West (cost about £19) .

By Road

Canterbury is easily accessible by road via the A2 from London; join the M2 Dover bound, and rejoin the A2 to Canterbury as signposted. Journey times from London average 1.5 hrs.
