ARRIVAL BY AIR
From Edinburgh Airport take a taxi to your accommodation or to Craiglockhart Campus (as appropriate).

ARRIVAL BY RAIL
From either Waverley Station or Haymarket Station take a taxi or bus to your accommodation or to Craiglockhart Campus (as appropriate).

Late arrivals (after 4pm) will need to call security on arrival in Edinburgh. Security will meet you directly at Blackfriars Street and check you in. Security's number is 0131 455 6119. Please only ring security when you are in close proximity to the development. Please have this letter in hand when checking in.


Your delegate pack will contain city maps and other local information.

 

FIRST CONFERENCE DAY JULY 6
Please plan to arrive at the campus by noon - early enough to register, pick up your delegate materials and then enjoy a light lunch (provided) before the opening session which will begin at 1pm.

SECOND DAY JULY 7 - Sessions begin at 9.00a.m.

THIRD DAY JULY 8 - Sessions begin at 9.15a.m.

Specific directions for using the bus from accommodations to Craiglockhart Campus

FROM PREMIER TRAVEL INN, 1 Morrison Link
TO CRAIGLOCKHART

bus number 4 from bus stop on Dalry Rd on the left hand side of the street, ie away from the city centre ­

Directions: turn right on exiting hotel, walk away from the citry centre (about 4 minutes) to traffic lights and turn left onto Morrison St.
Dalry Rd is directly infront of you.
Use first bus on left hand side of the road, ie going away from town ­ bus number 4 .
There is a bus stop outside campus, on Comiston Rd. The bus runs every 20 minutes. Journey time approx 15-25mins.
Total Journey minimum 25 minutes.

The bus is £0.80. The bus back to the hotel from Craiglockhart is the same, in reverse

FROM NAPIER BLACKFRIARS FLATS
TO CRAIGLOCKHART

bus number 23 from bus stop on George IV Bridge on left hand side of the road, away from city centre

Directions: On exiting the flats, turn right towards The Royal Mile (High St). Turn left and walk up hill, approx. 5 mins toward s castle. George IV Bridge is the second large Rd you come to (pass Parliament Square). Turn right, first bus No. 23 (1 minute walk from turn). The bus runs every 10 minutes but only every second bus goes onto the Craiglockhart Campus ­ you are advised to ask driver. The bus comes straight into Craiglockhart Campus.
Total journey minimum 35 minutes.

The bus is £0.80. The bus back to the George IV bridge from Craiglockhart is the same, in reverse
