The LSA, established in 1975, provides a unique multi-disciplinary meeting and communication forum for researchers, practitioners and students involved in all areas of leisure studies and its many directly and indirectly related areas of interest. LSA is a non-profit making body [Registered Charity No. 294997] financed by member subscriptions and sales of LSA Publications. Its affairs are vested in an executive committee, elected from the membership. All members are encouraged to participate fully in the affairs of the Association.
